Joint mobility and warmup

1. 16kg jerk set – 5:00. (4;4;4;4;5). 21 total.

2. 24kg one arm jerk set – 2:00. 8R/8L. 16 total.

3. 24kg one arm jerk set – 2:00. 8R/8L. 16 total.

4. 16kg snatch set – 4:00. (12R;13R;13L;12L). 25R/25L. 50 total.

5. 24kg swing set – 20R/20L. 40 total.

    Eric, I would call it rent to own at this point. As you know, a lot of this is mental. I am going to stay at 5:00 for a bit and work to increase my pace to 7-8 rpm. Resting in the rack is hard, and I think 7-8 rpm for 5:00 is a nice goal to shoot for before increasing time.

    Sounds like a good plan Charlie. A revelation for me over the weekend was in how much strength was actualy sapped through 4rpm over time. I think it just left me with to much time in the rack and drained quite a bit of leg strength it seemed. Today at 4-6 rpm I felt pretty strong. We’ll see how it plays out.
